Smart palletisation solutions from KV-Techniek
Palletising
Palletising is the process of stacking goods on a pallet. Here, it is important that the stack is kept upright and stable, as the load will go to storage or transport afterwards. Goods to be palletised can range from boxes and crates to bags or trays. The heavier the products are, the more intensive and time-consuming the manual work becomes. This is why automation is important.
Optimise pallet stacking with our palletising robots!
Versatile
The robot has a multifunctional gripper and is easy to set up for different packaging shapes and sizes.
Reliable
The palletising robots work with an operating system that is precise and accurate, ensuring consistent results.
Fast
A robot can pick up multiple products at once. It is therefore no problem to fully stack a pallet in a short time.
How the automatic (de-)palletising system works
Palletising solutions are possible for all kinds of goods and packaging. Crates, drums, jerry cans, boxes, bags… you name it. Because every production process is different, we provide a customised palletiser to suit the specific customer needs. The customised solution can range from a fully automated line with robots, roller conveyors, wrappers and AGVs to a simple robotic palletiser with manual infeed and outfeed. The operator determines the stacking pattern with our unique software. The robot follows the programme until it reaches the desired stack height. After that, the robot will take the next pallet to palletise.
Palletising solutions from KV-Techniek
Customised palletising robot
Every robotic integration that we do for palletising is custom-made. Because every company has its own packaging formats and weights, specific requirements and plenty or little space. This is already taken into account during the orientation phase. Only then we can provide the customer with the best advice. When the customer agrees, construction of the palletising solution starts. It is extensively tested in our workshop, before it goes to the customer. At the time of commissioning, employees are also trained so that they know how to operate the robots.
Multifunctional robot grippers
KV-Techniek has a lot of experience in handling different products. As a result, we can design a suitable gripper for each type of product. The technology of the palletiser depends on the type of products to be stacked. Among others, we offer vacuum and pneumatic grippers, as well as grippers with a servo mechanism. Our multifunctional grippers have hooks for picking up pallets, vacuum for interlayer sheets and a gripping system for picking up boxes.
Turnkey solution
As a robot and system integrator, we offer a customised solution with the right equipment, conveyor systems and machines. The size of the project depends on the process to be automated and the customer’s requirements.
For our projects, we personally design and build the conveyors, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, turntables, traversers, pallet racks or stackers, wrappers, AGVs, customised product frames and more. This makes us flexible and helps us respond to customer needs. Where standard components are needed, we work with reliable suppliers.
Advantages of automation
There are a lot of advantages to automating palletisation. Manually stacking boxes is time-consuming and requires accuracy to avoid damaging products. With heavy boxes, it also becomes an intensive job that can be harmful to employees’ health. A robot palletiser works accurately and can handle several boxes at once. This significantly speeds up the process and reduces the risk of human error. An automated process requires no staff, which makes a palletising line ideal for companies that want to produce 24/7.
